Chinese delegation in Gwadar

GWADAR: A 13-member Chinese delegation arrived here on Tuesday on a two-day visit.

Headed by Wang Qingli the delegation included senior Chinese officials.

Members of the delegation inspected different projects, including Gwadar Port, Gwadar Free Zone, District Hospital and GDA School.

They attended a meeting of Gwadar Chamber of Commerce.

The members of the delegation discussed bilateral trade and investment issues in the meeting and said China was interested in various sectors in Gwadar and other areas of Balochistan.

Chairman of Gwadar Port Authority Dostain Jamaldini and Director General of Planning and Development Munir Ahmed Jan gave briefing to the Chinese delegation on the Gwadar deep sea port.

It will be prudent on the part of the Pak govt to ensure, that the Baloch get a fair share of the local jobs. A very important point too is to ensure the Baloch hold senior positions in management as well, if they have the credentials. Please do not make mistakes of E Pak and import and then parachute senior officials from other provinces, this would be a grave mistake to make.

@Zak at a price mian..others don't have the same concept of free money like Pakistanis..there will be a price to pay somewhere someplace sometime and of course u wont have a choice..ask the americans and Saudis and emirates guys..
