LAHORE: PPP co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday paid a brief visit to the party secretariat in Model Town and gave instructions to provincial office-bearers to hold the workers in high esteem.

Mr Zardari said that workers were invaluable asset of the party. He also appreciated the efforts of workers for making the party’s foundation day convention a success.

PPP Punjab president Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo informed the co-chairman that workers and office-bearers were engaged in decorating Lahore for the party event. He said the PPP workers were motivated on his (Mr Zardari) visit.

Mr Zardari visited former governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood at his Model Town residence.
