CAPE TOWN: Pakistan beat South Africa by seven wickets to record their second successive victory in the Blind Cricket World Cup at the Gary Kirsten Oval of the Western Province Cricket Club here on Saturday.
South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first but were dismissed for just 114 in 29.4 overs. Bidla was the highest scorer with 38 runs. For Pakistan, Israr Hassan took 3 wickets for 13 runs while Mohammad Haroon and Sajid claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Pakistan were in trouble when they lost Badar Munir and Mohammad Jameel quite cheaply.
However, Nisar Ali hammered the opposition bowling to score a brisk 62 off just 30 balls.
Pakistan achieved the target in 18.1 overs for the loss of three wickets. Bomgani was the pick of the South African bowlers with 2-36.
Nisar was declared man-of-the-match.
