KARACHI: The training camp for Pakistan’s wheelchair cricket team was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Denmark, Mr. Jesper Moller Sorensen at the Karachi Gymkhana here on Saturday.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Sorensen applauded the cricket team members for their commitment and effort and stated that the inauguration of this new training camp provides the youth an excellent platform to pursue and build on their dream. “I am deeply impressed with the commitment and determination of these cricket players,” he said.

Players from all over Pakistan are participating in the training camp and the best players will be selected to represent Pakistan internationally. The first tour will take place in mid-December when the team heads to Bangladesh.
