Turbat’s roads need attention

TURBAT’S roads are in a terrible condition and the government is not paying attention to resolve even the basic issues of the residents. For the past many months, a road is under construction and people have to face a lot of difficulties due to construction work. I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and complete the road as soon as possible.

THE Historic news section is very enlightening and I appreciate Young World team’s efforts for compiling these facts for kids. Besides remaining updated about the current affairs, it is also very important for us to remain in touch with history. Past achievements and failures play a great role in a nation’s development.

IT was great to read about Google’s birthday in the Historic news section (YW, September 27, 2014). This is the beauty of this column that it makes us aware of many important things we seldom care about, for example Google’s birth date!

Since its creation, this search engine has become an essential part of our lives. From exploring different websites through it to using it for email account, from using its map to locate different addresses to searching news, images, videos and books, we use Google for many important tasks in our lives but I’m sure not many people would be aware of the exact birth date this great platform became operational.

Therefore, I thank the Young World team for including this useful section in the magazine. It provides us with interesting yet useful information.
