KARACHI: The final leg of national snooker camp in preparation for the Bangalore-bound team will now be held at Lahore from Nov 1 to 14 instead of Karachi, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF) said on Thursday.

The camp has been relocated following request by the secretary of the Punjab Billiards and Snooker Association M. B. Ghouri.

Ghouri made the request during his meeting with the PBSF president Alamgir Shaikh in Lahore the other day.

Earlier, the PBSF chief flew to Faisalabad to inspect the camp at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad snooker academy.

The PBSF official also met vice-chancellor Iqrar Ahmed and requested him to arrange for a generator at the snooker hall so that the game could not suffer during power failure which will help enhance practice timings to 12 hours.

The VC gave a patience hearing and immediately issued necessary instructions in this regard, he added.
