What's so special about the ECP building that does not allow a group of people to protest OUTSIDE its building. PML-N stormed the supreme court in the past without any consequences. Therefore, what's so special about this particular building.

Now they want to take away the right of a protest ? Democracy at its best ... and some are trying to save this system ??!! Shame.

IK should come down that container and start proving his allegation to all the institutions and people he has accused. He goes on with this nonsense but avoids to start working systematically .

There are many ways to make general public fool. One of them is to make public patriotic so that they forget all their real problems. The current rulers are using this tactic too. In childhood one of my friend asked me what I think about Pakistan. I told him " I love Pakistan" He asked me why? He asked me? can you tell me the reasons? I had no logical answer to his question. My answer was what I have learnt in my books. I was not too much informant about real world problems. Now a days I think that these so called politicians use our Patriotismus for their own benefits. Long story short Sin. do we not have right of protest? We all know that protestors were protesting for their right. What ever you say about IK. I am fully with him and I support him now 100% because before his struggle I was so disappointed about current situation of Pakistan. Now I see a ray of Hope in IK. We have right to protest and we will use it in future too.

@Proud Pakistani He could have been satisfied if govt had verified votes in 4 halqas...they had an year to do it. Wonder why they didn't....

History shows that all protest movements rely on symbols - boycotts, strikes, sit-ins, flags, songs. Symbolic action on whatever scale - from Islamabad to every where in Pakistan... wearing a simple wristband - is designed to disrupt our everyday complacency and force people to think and to a greater extent they have succeeded in it...To sin by silence, when we should protest, Makes cowards out of men.

@salman When you say,"government" what do you exactly mean ? The Prime Minister in person ? You sir are sadly misinformed. It is not the job of the Prime Minister or any of the members of the government. It is the job of the tribunals, appointed for this purpose. If the citizens do not know how to proceed then it is not the job of the government. If you were inclined to improve your education see some local sourse to help you. However it will perhaps help your blood pressure if you did not blame people who have nothing to do with your angist.

For God sake, let this government finish the term. Your protests will neither help you nor Pakistan. You have not read and seen how Pakistan has been reduced to its halves through protests and ML. Let the democracy strengthen its root. IK is neither angel nor Moses. If people really want him, vote for him 2018. In the past election PTI has only 34 seats not enough for IK to form the government. If IK does not understand at least you show some intelligence that continued protests will help nobody.

@trend Brother! Following all legal procedures and not getting justice, he is on the container to seek justice for the sake of real democracy and us. Initial demand was 4 constituencies, why was it not acted upon? Why Ayaz Sadiq took stay order?

@ali it's called evidence, he talks big, 14 years the cases against Nawaz were open he had 14 years to provide anything. Did he step forward? Does he even resign in person to the parliament? Is he above the law? He's not some new face he's been in politics for 20 years, and he still can't understand the system, talk about change etc , he's the broken record of the status quo. Double standards is PTIs core.

@Umi Well they just resigned/or didn't can never tell what they are planning seems like they are playing by the ear, so results shouldn't matter their out and hopefully he can live in his container till the 2018 elections.

@Qamar Tarar protests dont feed hungry people and neither do they provide education to the millions of out of school children. So please try to break away from being a Gucci protester and do something positive for Pakistan. The amount of money spent on beauty parlours during IK dharnas alone would have fed many hungry children in Thar.
