KHUZDAR: Three young men were killed and three others injured in firing on a vehicle in Zehri area of Khuzdar district when they were returning home after shopping on the eve of Eid.

The attack on the pick-up took place near Kashmi village and the deceased were identified as Saadullah, Mujeebur Rehman and Mohammad Omar.

Police said on Wednesday that a tribal feud might have caused the assault but added that the exact cause could only be determined after an investigation.

The injured were admitted to the district hospital.

In an attack in Gidar area of Kalat district, one Ghous Bakhsh was shot dead and Yar Mohammad injured. He was taken to the Surab hospital for treatment.

A woman was killed and four people were injured when a car overturned in Ornach area of Khuzdar district. They were going to Quetta from Karachi.

SUFFOCATION: Three people died of suffocation in their sleep after smoke from a faulty generator filled their room in Mola area of Khuzdar district.

Levies officials said that bodies were handed over to heirs after legal formalities.

The manager of a roadside restaurant was thrashed to death by a customer over a petty dispute while having launch. Police arrested the murder suspect.

Meanwhile, Hasib Iqbal Shahwani, son of Khuzdar Sessions Judge Mohammad Iqbal, who was under treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Quetta after a road accident, died.

His father and driver were killed in the accident that took place near Surab.
