GWADAR: An official of the Balochistan chief minister’s secretariat has been kidnapped from Turbat in Kech district, police said.

Ghulam Shah Anwar Dashti, the deputy secretary at the CM secretariat, had gone to Turbat to concelebrate Eid with his family. He was kidnapped by armed men from outside his house in Dasht Khudan area near Turbat on Sunday night.

Security forces have launched a search operation in the area but found no clue to his whereabouts.

KILLED: Gunmen riding a motorcycle killed one Rehmat Ali in Khuda-i-Abadan area in Panjgur.

The motive for the killing could not be ascertained.
