JIT formed to probe terror charges against Imran, Qadri starts work

ISLAMABAD: A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe terrorism charges against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri started its work on Monday.

The team which is being headed by SP Saddar Captain (retd) Elias Ahmed includes SP City Mustansar Feroze, an SDPO Secretariat and an SHO Secretariat as well as representatives from the Inter-Services Intelligence and the Intelligence Bureau.

The team started its work today after a notification was issued in this respect.

Imran and Qadri were booked under the anti-terrorist act on September 1, days after protesters in Islamabad attempted to attack the Parliament and entered its precincts. The First Information Report against the PTI chairman and the PAT chief was registered on behalf of the government.

Both Imran and Qadri have been holding protest sit-ins in the capital since August 14 with their parties demanding the prime minister’s resignation and a re-election in the country.

If anything bad happens to Imran Khan then the entire educated class of Pakistan along with the overseas Pakistanis and all the Pakistanis who support Imran Khan would go on a strike and that would be the last thing MIan Sahab would want. Supporters of Imran Khan are passionate about Imran Khan and Pakistan and they would not let anything bad happen to Imran Khan or Pakistan.

@Atif Khan no sir almost half and half. One half military and one half PPP + NS. ( 30 some years. ) I think it's enough time for goverents to prove their competency or incompetencys. Musharrafs few years -- speaks in itself , what a government can achieve -- that is , if they are willing. And why PPP + sharif family failed -- I think enough said about that. It doesn't need any more proofs.

Now the cat is already out of the bag that Molvi Qadri who has taken law in his own hands and he has done so on the behest of some foreign countries( including Israil and India).Even a common person having average intelligence can understand that from where Qadri has brought millions of dollars while just in the year 1989 Qadri was an employee of Ittefaq Group where he was drawing a meager salary of RS 4000 per month.Today Qadri is spending Lakhs of Ruppees per day to give salary and food to those 3000 or so poor persons .Reportedly Qari is paying Rs 400 to each such person per day. Some of the employees of Qadri are spreading propaganda on some T.V. Chennels that Qadri is even bigger Scholar than Allama Iqbal but this is just a white lie.Qadri is just an ordinary man

@Raheel Change has to be through election, the way Obama came to power through votes. IK and Qadri believe that they can bring the change using force or backdoors. That will hardly be change. In my opinion, both of them are corrupt to the core. If you don't want your country become Iraq or Libya, then change has to be through elections and votes and through parliament. Running a country is a very complex project unlike running a charity business. IK and Qadri are driving the wrong way, where there will a violent accident sooner or later.

@amir khan: I will go along removal of Nawaz Sharif by legal means as provided in constitution and laws of Pakistan and not by mobsterism, gangsterism, and laws of bats and balls. Justice should be done according to rules of Laws and not rules of mobsters and gangsters.
