LAHORE: Punjab Textbook Board Chairman Nawazish Ali has said millions of rupees have been saved by introducing technical reforms and over 80 million books are provided to students in time.

He was talking to a delegation of the German-based GIZ, an organisation providing technical assistance to the PTB, on Thursday. GIZ coordinator Aamad Ali Yousafzai led the delegation.

The PTB chairman thanked the GIZ for providing nine laptops to subject specialists. He said the board was facing a crisis when he took over last year and now it had become a stable institute through revolutionary steps.

Aamad Ali Yousafzai lauded efforts of the PTB chief.
