RAWALPINDI: A university student was abducted by three youngsters who detained her in a house near Misrote Dam on Adiala Road and allegedly raped her on Tuesday, police said.

Inspector Saddar Bairooni police station Raja Rasheed, who is leading the investigation into the case, said raids were being carried out to arrest the culprits who lived in the same street where the girl’s house was located.

The victim was on her way to a private computer college to attend her class when she was intercepted by one of the accused.

Police said the girl was taken to a house near Misrote Dam where two other boys were present.

In her complaint, the victim alleged that she was raped by the three boys who also filmed her.

The investigating officer revealed that the girl’s father was deceased and her mother worked as a housemaid.
