KARACHI, Aug 30: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad said on Saturday that it was the social and moral responsibility of every citizen to play their role at all levels for elimination of polio.

He was presiding over a high-level meeting held at the Governor’s House to review anti-polio efforts. He emphasized the need for effective and integrated planning at the district level and its implementation to achieve the desired results.

The governor asked the officials concerned to activate EDOs health, their staff in all the districts and medical students for anti-polio campaigns.

The governor will inaugurate the campaign in North Karachi on Monday.—PPI
