CHARSADDA: Four people were killed in separate incidents in Charsadda district on Wednesday. Two people were killed when a motorcycle collided with a car on Ghani Khan Road near Gul Rang area. They included Fazal Subhan of Chitral Korona and six-year-old Rehan of Dawranpur.

Two persons, including Sajjad and four-year-old Habib were also injured the incident. They were taken to the DHQ hospital, Charsadda. The police registered an FIR and have started investigation.

In Dado Kallay area of Tangi tehsil a paramedic Janullah was gunned down over a dispute concerning woman.

Tangi police station has registered an FIR against the accused Shafiq Tahirullah and Saeedullah on the complaint of Mohammad Iqbal, brother of the deceased.

In Manikhel area of Sar Dheri, one Qasim was gunned down by unknown assailants. Naveed, brother of Mr Qasim, told police that unknown person called his brother and when he came out of his house he was shot dead. The police have registered the case.

Meanwhile, the district administration has arrested a man, Fazlur Rehman, for selling stale and hazardous chicken meat. The police also seized a big quantity of the meat and destroyed it in Khyali River.
