LAHORE: Civil society activists and supporters of PTI candidate Hamid Khan took out a procession on Tuesday in DHA to express solidarity with Azadi March.

They chanted slogans against the PML-N government and said it was an outcome of rigged elections.

Nabeela Saleem, one of the participants, told Dawn they had come out on the call of PTI Chairman Imran Khan to step up protest momentum in the country.

Another protester Naeem Alvi said DHA residents had not forgotten rigging in the constituency on May 11 last year and a long sit-in in the locality.
