KOHAT: Police on Saturday found a missing man buried at a deserted place here.

Rafiullah of Hangu, who had been residing in the posh KDA Town, went missing during Eid holidays, police said, quoting the victim’s family.

The police said that after investigation, they found that the victim had an old enmity with his relatives who had been hurling death threats on him. The police arrested two brothers who, during interrogation, admitted having killed Rafiullah and also identified the place where they had buried the body.

The police seized the body and the weapon used in the murder and registered case against suspects Rashid Kareem and Aamir Kareem.

Meanwhile, the police arrested a robber who had looted gold and money from a house in Malangabad on Saturday.

Assistant superintendent of police Mansoor Aman told journalists at a press conference that Khalil ur Rehman had lodged a complaint at Jungle Khel police station, stating that robbers had taken away 14 tolas gold, Rs120,000 and 300,000 worth of prize bonds from his house, while he was away to Swat to spend Eid vacations with his friends.

The police recovered the stolen items from the robber, Tanveer Ahmed of Jungle Khel, and registered case against him.
