Blast in Karachi's Site area injures three

KARACHI: An explosion in Metroville area of Karachi's Site area wounded three persons early on Sunday, according to a DawnNews report.
The nature and intensity of the explosion could not be confirmed till the filing of this report.
Rescue and security teams reached the blast site.
The victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment while security personnel ccordoned off the area a as probe into the incident went underway.
Some bystanders reported that the destroyed debris of the motorcycle suggested that explosives were planted on the two-wheeler while others sources said that the blast was caused by a hand-grenade.

It is unfortunate that after all those arrests after the operation against the insurgents began, we are still seeing these blasts. It just seems that these terrorists are desperate and want to spread terror. I hope our military/rangers will not feel demotivated and will continue with their mission of eliminating these thugs not only from Karachi, but from all of Pakistan. These incidents will continue to occur, out of desperation and wrong conviction that if they continue, we might give up. This, unfortunately, is their only purpose of life.
