KHUZDAR: Gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in Mayndar area of Wadh tehsil on Sunday, killing one person and injuring another.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Arif Dinarzai Mengal and the injured as Abdullah. Police said the incident appeared to be a case of targeted killing.
Police took the body and the injured to hospital.
In a separate incident, a woman was found dead on link road of Killi Saleh Mohammad.
Police reached the area after receiving information about the incident and took the corpse to the Khuzdar district hospital.
“The woman was around 20 years old and was hit in the head,” police personnel quoted hospital sources as saying.
SUICIDE: A woman committed suicide in Bazgir area of Khuzdar town.
She was found hanging from a rope.
“The cause of the suicide is not known,” police said.
Her body was handed over to her family members after autopsy.
