LARKANA: Twenty-four power feeders which received supply from 66 KV grid station tripped on Friday, plunging the city and its adjoining areas into darkness.

The power supply broke down after a fault occurred at about 5.15 pm at seven feeders of 66 KV grid station and 17 feeders of 132 KV grid station, said sources in the Sukkur Electric Power Company (Sepco). The fault had been repaired and all 24 feeders would be fully restored around 10.30 pm, said Rafique Shaikh, in-charge of the gird stations of Larkana region.
