LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif doesn’t know any Qadri.

“I don’t know which Qadri you are talking about as there are tens of thousands of Qadris in the country,” the chief minister told a questioner while dispatching first consignment of relief goods from the Punjab government for internally displaced persons of North Waziristan.

He declined to talk further on the issue.

The CM briefed the media that Chief Minister’s Relief Fund has been set up with a sum of Rs500 million for the Pakhtoon brothers and sisters displaced in the war against terrorism.

The Punjab cabinet and assembly members, he said, would donate their one month’s salary to the fund.

On behalf of the provincial government, he said, relief items worth Rs100 million were being sent to the IDPs.

The first consignment of 50 trucks carrying relief articles including rice, flour, pulses and other commodities is being sent immediately, while more relief goods, if required, will also be provided.

He made an appeal to philanthropists and well-to-do segments of society to extend maximum help to their affected brethren and sisters and donate generously towards the relief fund.

May ALLAH bless you Shabaz Shariff and may ALLAH keep you away from the nazro badd of qadri

M.M.Sherazi Jun 25, 2014 11:58am

CM is engaged in right efforts that are needed at this point in time to stand up in supporting the internally displaced people, without dispersing or diverting attention to such trivial issues of Qadri, which stands so tiny and meager in size and volume as compared to the nature of hardships and struggles of the people evacuated from Waziristan.

Thats the way to govern Sharif Braderan, like an ostrich, stick your head in the sand and then ask,' Qadri which Qadri. cant see any'! While the streets burn.

Ghalib Jun 25, 2014 02:32pm

@sja Any ordinary Pakistani life as important as the Qadri's and Sharif's

@Akram - No...It

Bakhtawer Bilal Jun 25, 2014 04:22pm

Qadri sahib is enjoying the privileges of democracy abroad, while tells that we do not deserve democracy. Instead of judiciary, openly wants the military to intervene. Due to these reasons, Sharif are better than him, because Sharif came with the votes of people. Although I did not vote for them, as I do not like them. People dying of live ammo on the streets is wrong and culprits should be brought to justice.

Awais Jun 25, 2014 05:01pm

Good answer Mr. CM

baakhlaq Jun 25, 2014 05:34pm

If your brother had not been the Prime Minister, you would never have forgotten this Qadri.

Omar Jun 25, 2014 06:11pm

@Hassan good observation, my friends. Sorry state of affairs.

khanm Jun 25, 2014 06:11pm

Politics have no relation to morals or friendship

Naeem Jun 25, 2014 06:50pm

I don't know why Qadri is doing this drama against an elected Govt and he is against Constitution of Pakistan. Let the PML-N Govt work and also let the Govt complete its operation in the tribal areas. Why Qadir has selected this time to create turmoil when the country is in state of War in the tribal areas?

rana1 Jun 25, 2014 07:06pm

@M Rafique ........does qadri know you? does shabaz know you?how many leaders that we have elected know us?

rana1 Jun 25, 2014 07:14pm

why give a non entity any publicity! this qadri has no place in pakistan,he should be sent back to canada. How would shabaz know of a person who has lived abroad!

Agha Ata Jun 25, 2014 07:47pm

What an interesting story. Qadri is talking about toppling the government and the governemnt (Shabaz Sharif) doesn't even know which Qadri we are talking about. :>)

Javs Iban Jun 25, 2014 07:52pm
