A brazen attack by militants on the international airport in Karachi left 18 people dead but authorities managed to regain control of the premises. The attack had started late Sunday when gunmen disguised as airport security guards stormed the terminal after opening fire with machine guns, rockets launcher and other weapons and ammunitions. And although the authorities have wrested control of the airport, the attack on the country’s busiest airport has sent shockwaves across different quarters.
