LAHORE: A delegation of the Jamaatud Dawa, led by its chief, Hafiz Saeed, called on Jamaat-i-Islami emir Sirajul Haq at Mansoora here on Friday.

They discussed the situation in the region, especially anti-Pakistan outbursts of Narendra Modi and the killing of Indian Muslims during recent elections. The two sides called for an end to atrocities against Muslims in India, besides solving the core issue of Kashmir in the light of UN resolutions.

Hafiz Saeed was accompanied by Maulana Amir Hamza. JI Secretary-General Liaqat Baloch and deputy chief Hafiz Muhammad Idrees were also present.
