GWADAR / KHUZDAR: A strike was observed in Gwadar and other towns and cities of Kalat division on Saturday in protest against the disappearance of Chairman of the banned Baloch Students Organisation-Azad, Zahid Baloch and an attack on the house of Karima Baloch.

All business centres and shops remained closed in Gwadar city and other parts of the district. Traffic remained off the roads.

Heavy contingent of police and FC were deployed at important places.

No untoward incident was reported.

Our correspondent adds from Khuzdar: Business community observed a strike in Khuzdar, Kalat, Awaran, Mastung, Kharan and Washuk areas of Kalat division on the call of the Baloch Salvation Front.
