QUETTA: Four mutilated bodies found last month in a mass grave in Totak area of Khuzdar district were buried in the local police line graveyard on Friday.

The bodies were found in the presence of Justice Noor Muhammad Maskanzai of the Balochistan High Court, who is heading a commission investigating the discovery of mass graves containing mutilated bodies in the area. Seventeen bodies have so far been found in Totak.

The four bodies buried on Friday had been lying in the Khuzdar district hospital for the past month but had not been identified.

Samples from 11 bodies have been sent for DNA test to identify the victims. Only two of the 17 bodies have been identified and the deceased belonged to Awaran district.
