MANSEHRA: Two young girls were killed and another five critically injured when a mudslide fell on them in Shagai area of Torghar on Thursday.
The incident happened when the girls were digging soil to collect mud for renovating their houses. Local people rushed to the site and retrieved the girls from the debris, but two of them had died by the time.
Those buried alive were identified as Hamida Bibi, 15, and Shahnaz Bibi, 14.
The injured were taken to the civil hospital in Battagram wherefrom Farzana Bibi and Madeha were referred to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad. Doctors have listed their condition as critical.
