FATEHJANG: Education is on top of the priority list of the Punjab government, which is evident from the fact that it has allocated sufficient budget for this sector.

This was stated by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MPA Mohammad Shawaiz Khan while addressing a ceremony at Government Boys Degree College Fatehjang.

He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif were utilising all resources at their disposal to overcome electricity and gas shortage as early as possible.

He said you could see the difference between the progress the present government had made and the one made by the pervious government.

On this occasion Mr. Shawaiz Khan gave 100 chairs for the college students from his on resources as demanded by the Principal of the College Syed Tanveer Shah.

The principal also pointed out that the college did not have hall, library and gas for the staff colony of the college. The MPA promised that he would ask the government for provision of fund for this purpose.

Shawaish Khan announced that one modern stadium would be constructed on the playground of this college.
