Slightly Lucid was an exhibition at Koel gallery on March 22nd by seven new, dynamic, young artists. The works explored varied themes of memory, time, violence, identity and the consumerist culture. The exhibition was a close-knit event with artists hovering by their pieces ready and eager to share their art work with visitors. I particularly enjoyed the works by Sidra Bukharis and Quratulain for recreating the purpose of commonplace household items like lanterns and clocks for a larger expression of their art.
