Rockets hit Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Several rockets fired from undisclosed locations landed at different sensitive places in Peshawar early on Wednesday.

An official of Michini Gate police station said that a rocket landed at Army Public School at Warsak Road, but it didn’t explode. He said that the school was closed and personnel of bomb disposal unit called to defuse the explosive.

Similarly, another rocket landed in the limits of Tehkal police station, but no loss of life or property was reported. An official said that it landed in agriculture fields.

Two other rockets landed in the limits of Town police station, but officials said they were yet to collect details in this connection. However, they said there was no report of any loss to life or property.
