PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday issued a statement in which he strongly condemned the reported killing of 23 FC soldiers by a Taliban group in Mohmand Agency, who had been kidnapped in 2010.
In the statement, he said the barbaric act was against the teachings of Islam and must be condemned in the strongest terms.
Khan hoped the government and military would let the nation know the veracity or otherwise of this news.
The PTI chief also expressed concern over the fact that the FC men had been held prisoner since 2010 in an area that had ostensibly been cleared by the military.
Khan said the government at the time, the military and the present government, had all done nothing to secure the safe release of the soldiers who seemed to have been simply forgotten.
He said the nation should be told why this neglect had happened.
"Each Pakistani life is precious and our soldiers have embraced martyrdom for safeguarding the country and should never be abandoned like this," Khan added.
"Clearly this is also a direct sabotage of the peace talks in the most barbaric way possible," the PTI chief said.

Sabotage of talks? Are you in your senses Mr. Khan? They are openly killing our soldiers and you don't for a second let go of your sabotage mantra? Earlier when Taliban had not accepted responsibility of attack you were saying its those who don't want peace. For heaven sake, they are killing polio workers, soldiers while we are sincerely pursuing peace talks. Condemning is not good enough, support an action against them.

This person has lost the legitimacy and right to condemn the killing of soldiers. His angle of politics and policy has put the nation into a state of confusion and bolstered the Taliban ideology.......throwing the military action into question. This statement does not suits Imran since he is a disguised advocate of militants.

If the TTP cared about the 'teachings of Islam' in the first place they wouldn't have killed 50,000 innocent Pakistanis including children in the first place. They want to rule Pakistan even if they have to slaughter all 180 million Pakistanis. Get it? No you don't.

Illaj-e-dandan Ikhraj-e-dandan. The treatment for a rotten tooth is it's extraction. Anybody taking up arms against the society would have to surrender or die. Let Allah decide if they go to hell or heaven, the state can only decide if they go to jail or a grave.

These barbaric animals calling themselves TTP should be "taken out" by the army, "wipe them off the face of the earth, use whatever means necessary, find where they are hiding use flame throwers to "cremate them" FINISH THEM OFF! Pakistan can do without the "enemy within"
We do not need politicians at this moment time, only when these "animals are eradicated" and the public becomes "civilised"

,When 23 soldiers are executed by Talibans and he issues a hollow statement, just condemning it ,- In next election (if held),PTI will end up nowhere. It is question of country's survival, US has temporarily suspended drone attacks, what is the next excuse IK has ? He wanted to stop NATO supply line, evidently it is not working.
