RAWALPINDI: The lawyers of general (retired) Pervez Musharraf, Ahmed Raza Kasuri and Barrister Saif, on Friday visited the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) but doctors refused to allow them to meet the former military ruler.

They brought bouquet for the former president but after refusal from the doctors, they left it outside the hospital. However, except for the lawyers no other leaders of Musharraf’s party (APML) was visible there.

Military personnel took the charge of the security of AFIC and the limited number of the patients was allowed to enter in the hospital.

Talking to Dawn, Ahmed Raza Kasuri said that they went to the hospital but doctors didn’t allow them to meet Musharraf.

“The condition of former president was stable but he was in ICU where visitors are not allowed to meet patients,” he said.
