LAHORE: The Punjab government approved on Wednesday three development schemes with an estimated cost of Rs2.04 billion.

These schemes were approved in the 23rd meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party of the current fiscal year 2013-14 presided over by Planning and Development Board Chairman Irfan Elahi, says a handout issued here.

The approved development schemes included the rainwater harvesting project for all villages in Potohar area by ABAD at a cost of Rs250 million, dualization of Makhdoom interchange (M-2) to Sargodha length 39.20km in Sargodha district with a sum of Rs848.270 million and the establishment of Children’s Hospital at Faisalabad at a cost of Rs947.230 million.
