Two Italians shifted to Multan

DERA GHAZI KHAN, June 21: The district police picked up on Saturday two Italians and set them free in Multan.

Speculations were rife about the Italians’ presence in the district which, according to sources, had been declared the most sensitive area.

Reports said Bruzzune, 35, and Claudio, 30, reached Dera on June 18 from Quetta for a night’s stay. They spent some time on roads and then went to a hotel. The management informed the police, which raided the hotel and picked them up. An intelligence agency was said to have been interrogating the foreigners.

However, DCO Saqib Aleem claimed that no suspicious documents were recovered from them.
