Bus accident kills minor, injures 29 near Murree

MURREE: A minor was killed and 29 other passengers were injured when a bus carrying vacationers from Lahore fell into a ravine near Trait, while on way to Islamabad from Murree on Saturday.

The bus was carrying about 32 passengers including women and children, when its breaks failed while taking a sharp turn on Aaru Kuss Road.

According to head of Rescue 1122 Farooq Khan, the injured were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Federal Government Services Hospital and a private hospital at Bhara Kahu in critical condition.

Acting Traffic Police Chief Islamabad, Asmatullah Jonejo said that signal free access was provided to all Rescue 1122 ambulances for an early transportation of the injured.
