SUKKUR, June 11: The Balochistan police have yet not arrested the killers of the DIGP of Sibi and two constables despite their claim to arrest the outlaws in 48 hours.

Qadir Bux, the DPO of Naseer Abad, Balochistan, along with a heavy contingent of the police, conducted raids at different places to arrest the killers. The police on Wednesday cordoned off RD-238 area near Jafferabad where the culprits were reportedly hiding.

Talking to this correspondent on telephone, the Jafferabad and Naseer Abad police confessed that no progress had been made in the case and they had find no clue to the location of the outlaws. They claimed that the outlaws belonged to the Bugti tribe and they might have entered Sindh.

They said the police party which was formed to raid outlaws’ hideouts had not returned the district headquarters.

They said the police had detained some suspects during house-to-house searches. They said influential people of the area were being pressurized to force the outlaws to surrender.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Ali Mohammad Mahar, accompanied by Sindh IGP Syed Kamal Shah, visited the Kot Bulla village, Pano Aqil taluka, Sukkur, and offered condolence to Jafferabad DCO Ilimdin Bullo, on the demise of his elder brother, Sibi DIGP Abdul Aziz Bullo. They offered Fateha for the departed soul.

Balochistan home secretary Badaruddin Ujjan, Sukkur Naib Nazim Iqbal Dawood, AIGP Rahoo Khan Brohi, DIGP Ramzan Channa, DCO Pir Ziaul Haq Surharwardi and Pano Aqil Taluka Nazim Gul Mahar also offered Fateha and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
