SUKKUR, Oct 12: Police succeeded in tracing whereabouts of a minor girl who was kidnapped at the age of 11 months from Masoo Khan Kalwar village in Ghotki two years ago and recovered her from Karachi on Saturday.

A police party led by ASI Abdul Qadir Kolachi of the A-Section police station conducted raid on a house in Bhittai Abad in Karachi and recovered Baby Muskan while the kidnappers managed to flee, police said.

Police have shifted the girl to Ghotki and informed her parents about her recovery. The minor girl would be produced in court in Ghotki on Monday, said police.

According to police, an FIR was registered at Ghotki police station in 2011 on a complaint lodged by Ms Hurmat about kidnapping of her 11-month-old granddaughter, Baby Muskan, daughter of Nadir Mochi. Police managed to lay hands on a lead which led them to the kidnappers’ hideout in Karachi.
