Four die on road

PARACHINAR, Oct 10: Four people were killed and seven others wounded when a passenger pick-up plunged into a deep ravine in central Kurram on Thursday.

Sources said a pick-up (J-1034) was on its way from Sadda to Syed Karram area of Para Chamkani. When it reached near Zangi area it plunged into deep ravine while negotiating a sharp turn at the mountainous area.

As a result, four passengers identified as Haleema Bibi, two brothers Abdur Rehman and Danish Rehman and Hussan Bibi were killed while seven people were injured in the accident.

The injured were taken to tehsil headquarter hospital Sadda.—Correspondent
