KARACHI, Sept 23: Senior journalist Ejaz Ghani has passed away at 75, his family said on Monday.

It said that Mr Ghani breathed his last on Sunday morning. He was later buried at Mohammad Shah graveyard in North Karachi. Mr Ghani began his professional life in 1960s in Bangladesh where he worked for 1960s Daily Chronicle, Daily Unity and Daily People. Here in Pakistan, he served as weekly Lail-o-Nihar as its editor.

Quran Khawani will be held at Mr Ghani’s residence E-10 Zohra Square, Block-6 Gulshan-e-Iqbal near Dhaka Sweets, between 2pm and 5:30pm.
