SHEIKHUPURA, Aug 26: Two more dengue cases were reported here on Monday in Ferozwala tehsil.

One case each was reported at Rana Town and Labour Colony. Earlier, 10 cases had been reported.

District Coordination Officer Ali Jaan Khan has directed the local health department to take steps for eradicating dengue larvae throughout the district.

“The department will be responsible for any death,” he warned.

When contacted, the Executive District Officer (environment) said the teams had inspected 40 factories and found dengue larvae in four of them.

Cases have been registered against the owners of factories on charges of violating instructions of the district administration.
