QUETTA, Aug 12: Two people were killed and another was injured when a bomb went off near a Wapda grid station on Sariab road on Monday night, police said.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The injured was identified as Nadeem who at the time of the blast was passing by the area on his motorcycle.

He was taken to civil hospital where his condition is said to be serious.

A damaged bicycle was found at the blast site and according to the police the explosive device had been fixed to it.

According to the bomb disposal squad, the bomb weighed 5kg.
