KARACHI, July 18: Pakistan snooker team arrived here from Beijing on Thursday evening after competing in the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) World U-21 Snooker Championship.

Pakistan made its exit when two of its cueists Mohammad Majid Ali and Amir Tariq suffered defeats in the pre quarter-finals the other day. Hamza Akbar met his fate in the last 32-round while Mohsin Amin failed to go beyond the league stage.

According to Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF) sources, Majid has not returned with the team as he had gone to Thailand to feature in a snooker contest there. The PBSF chief Alamgir Shaikh has also arrived with the team.—Sports Correspondent
