PERVEZ Musharraf and former prime minister Pervez Ashraf have both openly broken the nation’s laws. Then why is it that one is allowed to contest elections, while the other has been arrested?

This is where the Pakistani public loses trust and their confidence in institutions.

We seem to be headed for the right direction as regards some bold decisions taken by the judiciary and the caretaker government. So let us continue in that direction instead of continuing with the old ways that have landed Pakistan in a precarious position.
