KARACHI, March 18: A seniors ranking tennis championship commenced at Karachi Gymkhana on Monday.

Khwaja Saeed Hai, president of Pakistan Seniors Tennis Association (PSTA), formally inaugurated the event.

Results: 40 plus singles:Khwaja Masroor bt Jawad Amjad 6-0, 6-1; Sabih Wali bt Mohammad Iltifat 7-5, 6-2; Emaduddin Ahmed bt Arif Anis 6-2 (retired).—Sports Correspondent
