KARACHI: In honor of Mansoor Saeed, a playwright, who passed away recently family, friends, and admirers gathered at the Art Council to pay homage to his great talent. Mansoor Saeed, a veteran Marxist, was a founding member of the noted theatre company Dastak. The evening began with words from close friends and the listening of an audio recording of Mansoor Saeed in his own words.

The audience had a chance to experience scenes from Saeed’s play, “Galileo ki Dastaan” an Urdu translation of Bertolt Brecht’s play, “Life of Galileo.”
