TIMERGARA, Dec 31: Elec-tioneering resumed in the Lower Dir district on Monday after an announcement by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) that it would participate in the coming polls.

The PPP, ANP and JUI-F have been holding Quran Khwani to mourn the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. But now they are gearing up for elections.

The ANP’s candidates, Muhammad Ayub and Azam Khan, JUI-F candidate Qazi Fazlullah and PPP’s Mehmood Zeb Khan organised separate public meetings in different areas on Monday.
