The Humaima Malik and Emraan Hashmi starrer, Raja Natwarlal received positive reviews from critics after a special screening was held in India on Thursday.

The film has created quite a buzz on both sides of the border with its music making waves on TV channels and the internet. Malik's Bollywood debut has naturally created quite a lot of anticipation in Pakistan as well.

The people of UAE have given the film a thumbs-up and have loved Hashmi’s acting as a con man.

Indian critics have also weighed in.

One of the most popular film critics of India, Taran Adarsh, in his review on Bollywood Hungama says, “Emraan Hashmi is top rate as he delivers exactly what was expected of him… this film will surely live up to the audiences' expectations from him”.

About Humaima’s performance, Adarsh says she “commands a strong screen presence” in the film and “does deserve brownie points for her confidence to stand against Emraan Hashmi”.

Adarsh further added that the film’s storyline “deserves applaud” and the choreography and screenplay was “commendable”.

Kusumita Das of the Deccan Chronicle also praised the film, saying it scores on the performances of its stars and that the casting is spot on.

The movie has been lauded by all and Humaima’s performance alongside Emraan Hashmi is also being appreciated.

The film was released worldwide, including Pakistan, on Friday.
