PESHAWAR: Armed men gunned down accounts officer of Fata Secretariat Ihsanullah Khan and his driver Khaista Rehman while they were going in a car.

An official of Bana Mani police station said that Asmatullah, son of the deceased Ihsanullah, had nominated five people in the case and said that the cause of the incident was an old dispute related to a woman.

Four of the suspects nominated in the case were identified as Idrees, Noorul Islam, Badrul Islam and Haqiqatul Islam. The official said that the officer and his driver were attacked with 9mm and 30 bore pistols.

Meanwhile, Peshawar police claimed to have recovered three kidnap victims, including a married woman, and arrested the alleged kidnappers from different areas here on Thursday.
