KARACHI: Sindh Police's Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Saturday arrested a 'terrorist' affiliated with a sectarian organisation in Karachi, DawnNews reported.

Abid Bangash, a suspected terrorist associated with Hizbullah Parachinar, was arrested when a CID party raided his hideout on Tariq Road, DawnNews quoted SSP CID Fayyaz Khan as saying.

A Kalashnikov and a hand grenade were recovered from his possession.

Police said the suspect was involved in the recent bank robberies through which he assisted his organisation financially.
