Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, has said negotiations with the United States on a final deal, including on Iran’s nuclear programme, have not begun, Al Jazeera reports.

“We have not yet entered the negotiation phase for a final agreement,” he said in comments carried by the IRIB broadcaster.
