QUETTA: One person was killed and five others were injured in a bomb blast in Sibi town on Thursday.
Police officials said that some unknown miscreants had planted an improvised explosive device in Chanki Chowk area close to Girls Degree College, which went off,
killing a man who was passing through the area.
As a result of the powerful blast, five passersby were injured. Soon after the explosion, police reached the area and shifted the body of Wafa Khan and the injured to Sibi district hospital.
Police said it was not known what was the target of the IED blast. No one has claimed responsibility for the blast.
