Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has called for an end to Israel’s offensive against the Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank.

Speaking during the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting, he referred to Israel’s blockade of humanitarian aid and said, “Such cruelty during the holy month of Ramazan is highly condemnable. Blocking aid is a war crime.”

Dar said, “The international humanitarian law remains under assault in occupied Palestinian territories. This must stop. Israel must be held accountable for violations, grave breaches and disregard of the international humanitarian law.”

He stated, “The uncertainty surrounding the implementation of the [ceasefire] agreement underscores urgency for permanent and just peace.”
